From Kevin Johnson, another of the “classic” Negro league parks, the Indianapolis A.B.C.s’ Washington Park, which was also the home of the city’s American Association club. The A.B.C.s used Washington Park from 1917 on (previously they had played in Federal League Park, which was torn down after the 1916 season).
